Creative direction and event management for the Foundation’s annual event.
BRIEF AND OBJECTIVES
Plus+ was entrusted with the International Forum on Food and Nutrition, hosted by the Barilla Foundation in 2019.
After the resounding success of the 2018 edition, also organized by Plus+, which took place in Milan’s Pirelli Hangar, the 2019 event was hosted in “The Mall” in Milan’s Repubblica neighborhood.
The space was 4500mq in size and hosted around 3,000 people across the two days of the event.
FROM CONCEPT
The initial concept was a complex and exciting project; Plus+ was tasked with bringing this idea to life for a two-day event centered around food sustainability.
As well as the ideation and decoration of the space, Plus+ was responsible for all press relations across national and international channels, as well as the branding and video content for the event.
TO REALIZATION
The assembly was indubitably the key moment of the entire project.
The beating heart of the forum consisted of a backdrop which spanned the entire location, over 45 meters in length, created using a mix of modular elements obtained from discarded pieces of wood.
4 secondary LED walls were incorporated into this display, plus a larger, central LED wall which was used as a backdrop for the stage.
